I grew up in Aberdeen in a family of 4 sisters and 1 brother .
On leaving Central school I later started my nursing course in Aberdeen
Infirmary, where I became a trained nurse after 3 years in 1955.
I am a widow now, with 3 grown up children who live and work in
Edinburgh. I am blessed with 2 lovely grandchildren.
My friendship with Simon, has led me to visit the project in Rwanda 3
times, where I have visited hospitals, health centres, churches and
schools, developing a love for the people and a desire to further the
work of RSVP.
