Church leaders training event

From the 28^th July to the 1^st of August eleven participants (pictured below) engaged in this event organised and funded by supporters of RSVP.  RSVP is very pleased to see that the church that has given so much to the children is benefitting from our partnership.

Designed to equip the servants of God with vital skills to help them tender His flock, it covered subjects as diverse as leadership skills, HIV and family planning, church history and how to prepare sermons. The seminar started each day at 8.30am local time (7.30am London time) with a tea break at 10am, lunch at 12.30pm for one hour (lunch provided by RSVP caterer) and concluded at 4.30pm.

Sessions included PowerPoint presentations and group work.In the evenings, church members were invited for a short sermon followed by films: the Moses and Jesus films were projected.  

Simon assessed the impact of the seminar with short phone interviews on the final day and formal reports are expected to arrive in the near future.
